BIRATNAGAR — Birat Expo 2026 is set to return to Biratnagar for its ninth edition, with Xtreme Energy Drink confirmed as the event’s main sponsor and organisers expecting more than 250,000 visitors.
The Chamber of Industries Morang, which organises the industrial and commercial exhibition, reached a formal sponsorship agreement with Xtreme Energy Drink in Biratnagar on Asoj 1, 2083, corresponding to September 17, 2026. New Business Age and other reports confirm that the agreement was signed on Thursday.
The expo is scheduled to run from Poush 2 to Poush 11, 2083. An event listing associated with the Chamber of Industries Morang identifies the Degree Campus Ground in Biratnagar as the venue.
This year’s event will be the ninth edition of Birat Expo, which the Chamber of Industries Morang has organised for nearly three decades as an industrial and trade exhibition in eastern Nepal.
According to the organisers, Birat Expo 2026 is intended to extend beyond the conventional format of displaying products and services. The event is expected to bring together industrialists, businesspeople, entrepreneurs, investors, students, young people and policymakers while providing opportunities related to industry, trade, technology, investment, entrepreneurship, employment, networking and business development.
Organisers expect more than 250,000 people to attend the upcoming expo. The attendance figure is a projection for the 2026 event rather than a recorded turnout.
Chamber of Industries Morang President Nand Kishor Rathi said at the sponsorship announcement that the expo is designed as a common platform linking industry and trade with entrepreneurship, investment, employment and emerging opportunities. Expo coordinator Bipin Kabra said the sponsorship would be connected with activities at the event rather than being limited solely to brand promotion.
The organisers have positioned Birat Expo 2026 as a platform for business interaction, learning, networking and entertainment while connecting established businesses and investors with entrepreneurs and younger participants.
