Nepal News offers advertising opportunities for businesses, institutions, organizations and public-interest campaigns seeking to connect with readers in Nepal and abroad.

Our advertising arrangements are handled independently from our editorial decisions. Payment for advertising does not provide an advertiser with influence over our reporting, headlines, opinions, investigations or editorial priorities.

ADVERTISING OPPORTUNITIES

Subject to availability and approval, advertising opportunities may include:

• Homepage banner advertisements
• Advertisements on article pages
• Category-page advertisements
• Sidebar placements
• Mobile-responsive advertisements
• Sponsored or branded content
• Public notices and announcements
• Recruitment and event promotions
• Custom advertising campaigns

All placements, dimensions, publication periods and prices are confirmed separately for each campaign.

ADVERTISING STANDARDS

Nepal News reserves the right to accept, reject, suspend or remove any advertisement.

We do not knowingly accept advertisements that:

• Contain false, deceptive or unsubstantiated claims;
• Promote unlawful products, services or activities;
• Encourage violence, hatred, discrimination or exploitation;
• Violate privacy, copyright, trademark or other legal rights;
• Misrepresent news reporting or impersonate public authorities;
• Contain obscene, defamatory or harmful material;
• Target or exploit children or vulnerable people;
• Promote fraudulent investment, employment or financial schemes;
• Violate any applicable law, government directive or regulatory requirement in Nepal.

Advertisers are responsible for ensuring that their content, products and services comply with applicable laws and industry requirements.

SPONSORED CONTENT

Paid articles, advertorials, sponsored features and other commercial content will be clearly identified using labels such as “Advertisement,” “Sponsored,” “Partner Content” or “Paid Promotion.”

Sponsored content must not be presented as independent reporting. Nepal News may edit or decline sponsored material that does not meet our legal, ethical or quality standards.

EDITORIAL INDEPENDENCE

Advertising relationships do not determine or restrict our news coverage. An advertiser may be reported on when the subject is newsworthy, irrespective of its commercial relationship with Nepal News.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Please include the following information when requesting advertising:

• Advertiser or organization name;
• Contact person and contact details;
• Product, service or campaign description;
• Preferred advertising position;
• Proposed publication dates;
• Target URL;
• Advertisement artwork or creative material;
• Billing information; and
• Any legally required licence, authorization or disclaimer.

Advertising materials must be supplied in the dimensions and file formats requested by our team. We may request changes before publication.

PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION

Advertising prices, payment deadlines, taxes, publication periods and cancellation terms will be stated in the applicable quotation, insertion order or written agreement.

An advertisement will not be considered confirmed until Nepal News provides written approval and any required advance payment has been received.

Unless otherwise agreed, payments already used toward a published or active campaign are non-refundable. If Nepal News cancels an unpublished campaign without fault by the advertiser, the unused amount will be refunded or credited, as appropriate.

CAMPAIGN PERFORMANCE

Nepal News does not guarantee a particular number of impressions, clicks, inquiries, sales or other results unless a written agreement expressly provides otherwise. Statistics supplied by analytics systems may be affected by technical limitations, ad blockers and invalid-traffic filtering.

ADVERTISER RESPONSIBILITY

The advertiser confirms that it owns or has permission to use all submitted names, logos, images, trademarks, videos and other materials. The advertiser is responsible for the accuracy and legality of all claims made in its advertisement.
